Course Lessons

1. Lesson 1- Introduction and History : Welcome to your Childbirth education and preparation class! Lesson 1 introduces the class and explains the concept and fundamental theories behind the Magic of Motherhood method, including a little history, physiology and anatomy.
2. Lesson 2 - Preparing Yourself : This lesson covers the emotional and psychological preparation for birthing as well as the physical. You will learn the physiology of your body mechanics and what you can do to help the process.
3. Lesson 3 - Preparing Baby : Including the baby in the preparation and education for birthing is just as vital as preparing yourself! Learn how you can help ease the shock of the birthing process for your little son or daughter, before, during, and after the birth.
4. Lesson 4 - Birthing : This lesson discusses the actual birth, including the stages of labor and positions for delivery, as well as the support and environment.
5. Lesson 5- Your Newborn, The Out of Womb Experience : Welcome to air breathing space, little one! This lesson familiarizes you with your newborn for the optimal learning and comfort of your family.
